Single: Easy run. Into work by 6am, out the door about 10am. Continued with my "change of pace" and didn't run to City Creek again. I ran some of the SLC course and stopped at home on the way back to very briefly say hi to the family before they started lunch. Took it easy, knee continuing to improve. Mi 10-T1

Great run! I'm glad your knee is improving. That's great you can see your family in the middle of the day. It makes it nice to not have to wait till you've already worked late into the evening. I go home for my lunch hour to see my wife and help her cover the daycare, and it's a nice break. Your going to know the SLC course by heart and really smash your time next year by running on it so much. Have a great weekend Adam, and hopefully you don't have to work.

Question: Does your knee hurt worse when you bend it straight out?

From dave holt on Fri, May 30, 2008 at 19:15:27

Glad the knee is feeling a little better - hopefully the weekend will eliminate all pain!

You aren't doing Ragnar, but "You gotta be kidding me" is a possibility!:) I will email about the leg assignments soon. I had everything pretty much squared away and then we had something come up the other day that might change things. I'll email everyone about it in the next couple of days.

From Adam RW on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 14:39:09

I hope it is nothing serious.

From James on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 14:41:52

Let me just say that I will switching some legs around again.

From Adam RW on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 14:46:59

Kory, Not sure if I'll run SLC next year but I can't rule anything out at this point. My knee pain seems to be the opposite of yours. It bugs me most when I squat down. However, the slower mileage this week and icing after runs seems to have made most of it go away. Hopefully your pain is also a thing of the past. It seems mileage wise that you are doing fine.

From Jon on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 14:50:33

Adam- are you on the white or blue team?

From James on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 14:55:37

White!

From Adam RW on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 15:00:26

Jon, James beat me to the answer. How did your knee hold up for the long run today?

From Jon on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 15:12:48

Actually, which team am I on?

I had a long week of no sleep so I slept in today. 8 hours of sleep was fabulous. I'm doing my run ~7 pm this evening.

From Adam RW on Sat, May 31, 2008 at 15:20:33

Last I heard blue, but who knows how things have changed.

Smart waiting for the cool of the evening for your run.
