Just trying to build back the mileage. The hardest part now is finding the time. I've easily recommitted about 8hrs a week so to get any "real" mileage in will be a challenge. As I get back into the lab routine over the next few days we'll see what I can work out. Today I came home a little early with the intent of going running with Kaitlyn. However, listening on the radio to how this was one of the 5 worst air quality days this winter made me change my mind. Instead I just did the treadmill while Kaitlyn played. At least we still get to talk. In some ways it is more interactive than when we go for a run together outside.

Nice run and good quality time with the your spouse. I wish at times my wife would run with me again, or I actually ran with her when she was running.

I hope the Lab and everything doesn't disturb your life anymore than it is. But we can all be thankful for a job.

Better than running out the muck. I tpeople are crazy for running in that stuff. The particles are so small they that they lodge permanently in your right?

Sorry, in a hurry on that one!

Congrats on getting the grant finished.

Kory, Each section of the year seems to get a new focus. But as you put it we wouldn't be able to do everything else in life without a job. I enjoy what I do I'm just sometimes (alright all the times) a bit too compulsive about my goals, be it family work or running.

Steve, I'm sure it doesn't do anything good for your lungs. Not sure about how permanent but it is just not worth risking it when you can't see the next building through the haze. I remember the story of Steve P. running at Hayward Field after a fire in the area and coughing up blood. Not something I want to do.

Jon, It does feel good to get that behind me. It is such an anticlamatic thing because getting it done really doesn't mean anything. So much work to be at a panels whim now. Also, I don't find out about their decision for 4-5 months...
