Well yesterday did not go as planned and today is not shaping up much better. Just a lot of unexpected but urgent work items. This caused me to adjust my plans for today. I had ~2 hr of bench work, some that had to be taken care of early so I just ran in did the work and ran home. Now trying to get that writing from yesterday done, but needed a break so update the blog. It is 5 min well spent :)

You're an insanely busy guy! Nice miles and blog :>

Thank you, I'm happy with the mileage and the way my foot and knee are holding up. I'd love to break last years Des10K time.

As far as my insanity goes, it is scary to think about but both my current mentor and my thesis advisor are at least twice as busy. Makes me wonder what I'm getting into heading down this career path. But I can't think of having it any other way.

YOU CAN DO IT!

"If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do."

I thought it was Ben Franklin's quote, but Lucille Ball is given credit.

Your sister and I did 3.5+ miles Tues.

Have a great "long weekend" wherever you go.

Or we can do the Mark Twain version of work.

“Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.”

― Mark Twain

Things are getting done. I just set my expectations of what can be completed in a day too high.

Well, just in case you need another item, I would say "nap" should be added to the list.

From Adam RW on Thu, Jul 12, 2012 at 14:46:03 from 155.101.152.123

Don't I wish.

Hopefully one of these weekends I'll join the group for a run again... I've run into Jake but it seems like forever since I spoke to you in person.
