DONE! $26,403.70
Grew up outside Chicago and joined the blog while I lived in Salt Lake City. Now living outside Birmingham. I am married with two daughters. Wife thinks I'm crazy for doing marathons. And yes I am crazy I'm a scientist for a living...
Longest run since Nov 1st. We actually slept well last night and I didn't
want to ruin a good thing so when my alarm went off I re-set it and kept
sleeping. Then I spent the morning working on my grant. The most I've gotten
done since Sun. I went into lab to do three things and was immediately swamped
with people asking me for things and only got one of those three done. I think
I should always work from home... The afternoon I went for a run with Kaitlyn.
It was nice to run with her and to be outside after all these treadmill runs.
We did the SH run stopping to watch the birds and go down the slide. My knee
felt pretty good.
Just for an FYI my attempt to "fix" my knee has included the
following.
660mg of naproxen (Aleve) twice a day
2 tablets glucosamine/chondroitin twice a day
>48 oz of water a day (plus normal beverages consumption)
I'm on day 15 of a 21 day regime of the following. I'm also stretching twice
a day.
