AM-Got in to work early this morning (a little before 5:30am). Felt really good today despite getting less sleep than the night before. I got out the door for my run about 11:00am. I did the exact same run as yesterday but faster Avg. 7:19. The surprising thing was the feeling rested must have been a physical thing as well as my HR 139, was lower than yesterday…

PM-After my daughter went down I did another 5 to East High track around and back... Avg. 7:33 HR 147. It is funny the difference in HR. Maybe the full belly after dinner had something to do with it...

How early does your daughter go to bed?

From Adam RW on Wed, Dec 19, 2007 at 22:52:13

James, I don't want to start getting hate mail. But I'll spill the beans. Since last January my daughter has slept from about 7pm to 7:45am give or take a half hour in either direction. My wife and I are very strict with her routine and since we have deviated all of a half dozen times in the last year so has she... We count our blessings. I think since she was 6-months old she has only woken up twice in the middle of the night.

Here is your first batch of hate mail!

No, that is great. That is a blessing, so count it! My little boy is two and is a night owl. He usually goes to bed about 10:30pm even if he hasn't had a nap all day. We have tried different things but he just stays awake no matter what we do.

Your son sounds more like me. I think my daughter mostly takes after my wife in this department. However, what really helped us was the three Bs, bath, book, bed...

From Jon on Wed, Dec 19, 2007 at 23:52:42

I don't think I would like that- we are still out and about all the time until 9 pm or later, so I am glad my daughter doesn't go to bed that early. But if you like it, then that must be great.

Seeing if you guys are paying attention. Yes it is 10pm and yes I'm at work. After Kaitlyn went down, I did my run, and then had to go back into work. You have to love the holiday crunch...
