Personal:

Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

2:30 p.m.  5 easy miles in the glorious sunshine and above the hazy smog.  48:06.  Still a bit cold out, at 36 degrees.  East side loop from SR 36 to Utah Ave. and 7th and back + neighborhood loop.  Home early for a dental appointment.  Bummer. 

5:30 p.m.  Lt. upper body weights 3 x 15 x 6 machines at the gym.

10 mile run at 10 a.m. with Tina.  1:26:05, 8:36 AP.  Clear, sunny day, near 40 degrees.  Warm enough for shorts.  Pretty decent run, Tina pulling me most of the way.  Splits: 8:32, 7:45, 7:59, 8:24, 8:39, 8:24, 8:36, 9:11, 9:42, 8:50.
