Personal:

Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

3 miles at track at 4:00 a.m. with Gina.  Plus 1/2 mile to and from track.  Real early before my flight to Pittsburgh.  Alternated directions after 4 laps.  Very easy.

Pittsburgh, PA.  About 5 miles in 50:00 minutes.  Easy.  From Hilton Hotel across the bridge on Allegheny River Trail.  Around 3 Rivers Stadium, back past Pirates stadium and east.  Return to Hotel via the Point.

3 miles at 7:30 p.m. with Gina.  1 mile before and 1 mile afterwards.  She's getting stronger each week and is excited about the 10K in July and the half-marathon in August.

5 miles with Gina after running about 1 mile to meet.  I did an additional 6 afterwards at about 9:30 pace, very easy.  2:05 overall for 12.  Hip and back much better until I push it very fast.  Still need to take things easy, but slow pace seems to work okay.
