5 miles at 5:05 a.m. Very easy, muddy at the gate. 37 degrees. Standard Skyline Route.
5 miles at 6:15 p.m. Fairly easy in 44:58. Bagged the tempo run due to wet, stinging snow coming down after the first 1/2 mile. Got worse throughout. Skyline, Broadway, 7th to Utah Avenue, zig-zagged home via the Jr. High School route. Winter is back tonight. |

5 miles easy at 5:05 a.m. Even colder at 30 degrees, but supposed to warm up nicely today to 60. We'll see. I have an evening 7 miler, so I hope that's the case. I'm sick of winter.
7 miles moderate to tempo pace. 6:10 p.m. 58:11, 8:18 ave. pace. Cemetery and Broadway route to Vine and up Middle Canyon 1/2 mile down to Smelter Road and zig-zagged through town back home. Very nice evening. 59 degrees, sunny and clear. Long sleeves way too warm tonight. Felt good most of the run. |

| 7:30 a.m. run. 35-45 degrees. Mostly sunny. Up the Smelter Road hills to gate past mile 6 and then back down and thru Erda to the north end of Stansbury. 10 with Tina on her 13 mile run. A good run. 5 minutes faster than last week for the same route. Tina pushes the downhills pretty good. Slowest mile: 9:39 on steepest Smelter Rd. hill. Fastest: Consecutive 7:13, 7:16, and 7:14 at miles 10-12 into Erda. Average pace: 8:17. A local bike race event was going on along the course on Smelter Road. |
