Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

St. George Marathon #18.  I made it.  Worried alot about this hamstring, but it wasn't much of an issue.  I had it wrapped good per the PT's recommendation.  Felt a few twinges in the first 5 miles and a bit afterwards, but all in all it was no problem.  The heat on the other hand was.  I really felt it the last 4 miles or so.  Glad to get this one done.  3:48 isn't what I had hoped for, but I'm pretty happy all things considered.  Glad I BQ'd earlier at Ogden because I didn't get it done today.  Looking forward to the 10 year club dinner tonight.

Congrats on #18. I guess the excess heat was brutal and unexpected.

10 year club, AWESOME!!! I can not wait until I am there.

The heat was a problem for sure, glad there were thousands of us suffering through it together. And so HAPPY to hear that the hamstring held up.

Way to fight through the heat. It was a tough day for a lot of us.

Way to go Choke! 3:48 is still awesome in my book.
