Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

18 miles in 2:28:29.  8:14 average pace.  Generally a good run, although I struggled a lot after about mile 15.  Tina left me in the dust for the last few miles.  She is really running well right now.  I look for her to do very well next week at Hobble Creek.  Nice morning for a run.  Ran up the Smelter Road hills and back before meeting up with her.  She was planning on 14 and did 15.   Then we went down through Erda and into Stansbury Park finishing at the Benson Mill.  My splits:  10:08, 9:09, 8:07, 9:48, 9:42, 9:24, 8:43, 7:45, 7:01, 7:06, 7:13, 7:20, 7:22, 7:25, 7:51, 7:53, 8:06,  and 8:16.  Taper next week until Hobble Creek Half Marathon next Saturday.

Great mileage week there AC.Looks like you should be able to do a 1:30:00 or better at the Hobble 1/2. Are you doing SGM this year? Keep on clobbering out those great miles....

Thanks Slick. I don't know about 1:30, but hopefully 1:35 - 1:38. Yes, I'll be at SGM if things keep going well. #18. That may commit me to go for 20, which I hadn't really planned on. You're doing well and I know you'll be at SGM!
