Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

3 miles with Gina at the track this morning at 5:15 a.m.  1/2 mile to and from plus another 2 up to the base of the dam and back along the old canyon road.  Not feeling the best this morning so I took it really easy the entire run.  Still....it's good to be back running steady.

Evening run:  3 miles total.  Started my first Yasso 800's this year.  Did better than expected 2 x 800 in 3:28 and 3:27 with 400 recovery after each.  1/2 mile down and back from track.  I need to be careful with these, but they didn't seem to bother me as much as running on the downhills have been.  We'll se how they go.

I'm glad the Yasso's worked well for you, Coach Arti :)

Me too. That's quasi-coach, because I really don't know what the hell I'm doing even after 27 years of running.

Oh No Arti! Speaking from a new runner like me, help from seasoned runners in SO valuable!!! It means ALL the world to us newbies :)
