Personal:

Married for 44 years to a wonderful and supportive wife. She's run 2 marathons herself in our earlier years so that helps.  4 boys, all married, and 10 grandchildren.  2 sons are runners. I celebrated 39 years of running madness, insanity, or at least OCD, on August 23rd, 2021.

7:30 p.m.  12 miles in 1:36:42, 8:04 AP.  Tooele to Benson Mill at Stansbury Park with Tina.  Well, actually she left me in the dust.  I think she's ready for her next half-marathon on the 9th of June.  Splits: 7:47, 7:28, 7:32, 7:34, 7:35, 7:54, 8:07, 8:08, 8:27, 8:52, 8:42, 8:37.

9:15 p.m.  Gold's Gym.  3 x 15 x 6 machines.  Upper body light reps.

Are you talking about the Utah Valley marathon? I could only wish. I'm hoping to get back to St. George in October after missing last year. Are you running the marathon on the 9th? I see a first place finish for you!

i'm not running UVM this year -- next up for me is des news on july 24th.
