Post Microfracture Surgery:

Masters USATF Cross Country National Championships 8k in St. Louis, MO!

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and racing at whatever level I am able to. Possibly run another marathon post Microfracture Surgery in under 3:00.

Personal:

I'm in the Army. I am married with four children (20/17/13/8 years old). Trying to return to previous running form after having microfracture knee surgery in July 2008.

8 miles this morning in frigid, wet weather. It was about 42'F with 20-30mph winds and light rain. Quite the contrast with yesterday's run when it was 72'F at 6:00am. Even with the wind and cold I averaged 6:49 pace for 8 miles. Last two days have been decent runs so I think I am pretty much recovered from 10 mile race.
