Just another single 30-year old Argentine girl living the American dream in Washington DC and trying to run faster. Graduated from Southern Utah University in 2003, then moved to DC. I have a full-time job as research economist for an association in the transportation industry and I'm attempting to get my Master's degree in Economics from Johns Hopkins, part-time, while keeping my sanity!

Felt a sore throat this morning as I woke up so decided to sleep instead of going to the swimming pool... Biked to work, biked to my therapist at lunch, biked back to work, biked to the swimming pool, aqua jogged for 45 minutes, biked home.

Biking is great - and dangerous... it's pretty amazing how much faster it is than driving or taking a bus for short trips - though the metro is still faster. Did you read about the new bike sharing program in the district? It was in yesterday's Washington Post. I hope it works!

I'm actually planning on buying a road bike, so I will find out soon enough. I did read about the new bike sharing programs...pretty neat idea. When I was down by GW hospital getting my physical the other day, I saw some of the bikes next to the hospital and was wondering what the heck they were! Now I know.
