Biked to work and back; then spent 1.5 hours in the swimming pool. I was going to do mostly jogging, but the pool was EMPTY, which is unheard of, so I felt like I had to use the lanes! I felt tired though, probably because I haven't been eating well. I'm thinking of joining weightwatchers online again - it's worked for me in the past, and since Marion and some other of the wonderful blogger ladies are in it, they may help me stay on track. The blog works so well to motivate me with my exercise, it may work to motivate me with food too!

After the pool I got home, cleaned up, and got to make food for tomorrow's Hill intern reunion - I'm meeting with a bunch of girls who interned on Capitol Hill with me ohhhhh... 5 years ago already, yikes! Should be fun. I made some corn empanadas and attempted to make Cherry Garcia ice cream but wasted 2 cups of cream, 2 eggs, 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of milk because something was bad; probably the milk or the cream... i hate waste!

With all the cooking and cleaning I didn't get to bed till 1... so tomorrow will be a forced day off, as I really need the sleep... not really ideal, but it happens.

Great water jogging :) You rock!!! Now seriously- from all of the pictures I have seen of you on your other blogs, you have NOT a pound to lose! You are beautiful and FABULOUS! I am DEADLY serious! You are one hot mama!

Sorry about the cherry GarciA! I will have a moment of silence for the downfall of the BEST DESSERT IN THE WORLD!!!!

Ok- I had my husband look at your pics and he says that you do not need to lose anymore weight! He says you can even drink whole milk if you wanted (Napoleon Dynamite). Plus as a side note from me- you'll lose your boobs. Is boobs a family safe word? :D

Marion, you crack me up! Thank you for your kind words. I know I'm at a healthy weight and I don't "need" to lose weight. But as you know, the fast chicks are typically a bit on the thinner side. A few pounds less and my legs won't rub together, and my belly and butt won't juggle like jelly so much when I run. Most doctors suggest a healthy weight for my height, 5'7", to be between 125 and 150 lbs or so; I'd like to get it to 130 or 135; that's within that range so I think I'll be OK. And the thing is, I will lose that much naturally just from eating healthier and not over-eating; I don't need to kill myself dieting... but my eating habits can get out of control easily. But yes, I will miss my boobs :)

THANK YOU again for your reassurance though!!!

MMMMMM Cherry Garcia :) Sorry not helping, LOL

I know how it feels to "want" to loose a few pounds, but not really "need" to loose, I think it makes it even harder. I have been trying to loose 7-10 pounds like forever LOL!

You've been really amazing sticking to your stress fracture healing workouts. I'll bet it's been tough, but you are tough! I wanted to tell you, that I found out recently how much taking Amino Acids post work out make me feel. It's been a good discovery for me, since meat is less a part of my diet recently. I thought I'd let you know because, I do think I was 'missing something' and the extra amino's (proteins) have really helped me feel stronger (and calcium). I'm getting old and I can really feel the difference when I change my diet. I hope you're getting all healed up. Keep it up in the pool and on your blog's!
