Personal:

I was a single mom.  Two times over.  We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions.  Then, I met a man I didn't deserve.  And he loves me so much.  And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer.  Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now.  But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway.  This is my failure blog now.  Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded.

Major underperformance.  Pace bleeding started at mile 8 and at mile 10 my legs were just dead.  I could not get them generate any power whatsoever and my miles slipped over 7 minutes.  I also had this anxious panicky feeling in my chest.  I could breathe fine but the palpitations were kinda scary.

I don't really know what is wrong.  I broke down and weighed and that's not it, I'm still within decent range.  I am getting serious about pounding iron and eating lots of fruits and vegetables.  I'm also pitching heavier weights and going for functional core movements and plyometrics.  I hope it works and I shake the dead legs before Heartland.

Ultra runners don't waste their time on these sprints anyway! I'm kinda excited about your 100. I know you've run that far before but this time it'll be out in the open...do you have a crew?

yah what he said!! watch some supplements with iron have hidden additives that can increase heartrate. 1:32 is better than my 1:33 ;D

I like how you win every race.
