Personal:

I was a single mom.  Two times over.  We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions.  Then, I met a man I didn't deserve.  And he loves me so much.  And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer.  Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now.  But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway.  This is my failure blog now.  Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded.

Don't know the pace on this one but it was downright brisk.  I got my home health visits done early, took my mom out for a later mother's day lunch, then squeezed my run in because I will not be able to tonight--we are under tornado watch and a few have already popped up in western Kansas so I may get called in to staff an extra ambulance on EMS tonight.  That would be cool though, it has only been a little over a week and I already miss it.  Off to hang out with my family and cook dinner.

Just another manic monday, where's my fun day? really April did you PR in your just under 10K race today? probably : D My kids are frightened when they hear stories about tornados. They fixate on talking about them...we try to tell them they rarely visit us here. Hope you all stay safe!! BTW my girls watched The Wizard of Oz last week in their fixation. Still an entertaining show after all these years : D

Good luck on tonight. I'm crossing my fingers on the no tornados!
