Personal:

I was a single mom.  Two times over.  We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions.  Then, I met a man I didn't deserve.  And he loves me so much.  And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer.  Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now.  But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway.  This is my failure blog now.  Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded.

9:23 average pace.  Very slow run this morning to loosen up.  My left hip is really tight, and I mean tight.  Lots of stretching.  May run a few more this pm before my night shift if I have time.  I will probably at least do some yoga this afternoon.

Holding up? That long run took something from you, uh? take it easy...

Yeah I am slightly sore in my hamstrings but really tight in the left hip. It is better now but I am going to keep it easy today and maybe some yoga to balance things out, and day off tomorrow.

Some good openers will help---all Yoga moves!

How is your foot doing? Is it all better? Will you come fix mine?

Denise Austin just kicked my bum(actually my abs) for 10 minutes and I am getting ready for round two. My foot does fine as long as I run on dirt and nothing hard like asphalt or concrete. Still not ready for barefoot yet either. So I will run on dirt and wear shoes for as long as it takes. Still taping lightly for runs only. You seriously need someone to grind hot rocks into your foot like my friend Delight. That was the turning point for me. Of course Delight prays for everyone before she massages them. She is a sweet lady!

I could use some prayers and hot rocks. Maybe I should travel and find her?!?
