I walked around all day yesterday without limping and mostly pain free! I did a long workout last night after tucking everyone into bed--I crept out and drove to the wellness center. 75 minutes on the elliptical and one, brisk, pain-free mile on the treadmill. Tonight when I put the family to bed and creep out I am going to go for 2 or 3 brisk miles on the treadmill and see how my ankle holds up. This is great! It's like all of the sudden it is healing! I can't wait to run--I am making myself be patient, when I can jog pain free I will probably start on the treadmill since it is sort of springy and I think has last impact than the road. |
