Started with 3 easy miles then ran 4 at LT then finished with 2 easy.  Goal was to run the LT miles at 6:40/mile.  That is probably the correct pace although not the pace that I wish it were.  First mile came in at 6:30 and I felt surprisingly good.  Maintained that pace for the rest of the LT miles.  The last mile was a little tougher and I really had to work the last 1/2 mile but I was able to keep it at 6:30.  It was definitely a little quicker that LT but was glad that I was able to complete the run without the pace dropping off.  As the LT runs increase in length, I will need to be more realistic and back off the pace a little.

Super cold this morning.  Headed out the door and locked the pace in at 8:00/mile and just plugged along.  The run went by surprisingly quick.  I think that the mental fitness is starting to come back.  The miles don't seem to be as daunting anymore.

Nice and easy recovery run (super slow).

I am modifying my plan by replacing the 2nd MLR of the week with a hilly run.  Ran to the mouth of Mueller Park canyon and back home.  Pace was slow but the effort was good.  I took it easy on the way down.  Once I get into a better flow, I will start pushing harder coming down.  It was a balmy 45 degrees and I was overdressed.

Nice relaxing run along the LPT.  Headed south this time to see how much of the connector to the JRP is done.  There were some workers about a mile and a half after the LPT working on the trail so it must not be done yet.  Averaged just under 8:00/mile and felt good but did start to fatigue during the last 2 miles.
