Ran a nice easy run to test the legs. Started out slow and picked it up as the run progressed (averaged 8:15/mile). Felt really good. Quads are a little sore, especially on the downhills, but I feel much better than I thought I would. I have been feeling a little nauseous all morning. Amy bought me a heart rate monitor for my birthday so I am going to start tracking this. Average HR=141. I'm not sure what my max HR is yet but based on the formulas it is 187 putting this run at 68% of max. I will hit the track in a few weeks to find out what my true max HR is. |
