Since I have been run down lately, I wasn't looking forward to getting out on a long run today. Was planning on just running slow and easy. Picked up the pace half way through to pass a guy. He picked up his pace as I went buy which caused me to hold a faster pace a little longer than planned. Was in a groove so just mainted the quicker pace to the end. Actually felt really good. As it turns out, I may have had a flare up of the chicken pox which was causing me to feel so run down. Ankles and achilles were a little sore. It is time to buy a new pair of shoes. Ran the extra 0.3 so that the week's total mileage would be a whole number. |
