Nice and easy recovery run.  First mile was not good but started to feel better once I warmed up.  Considered cutting the run short but felt well enough to finish once I got going.

Nice job on the recovery miles. You better be babying your achilles.

What does the rest of your runs look like this week?

11 tomorrow, 8 Friday and 15 on Saturday. It does not seem to be getting worse but it is not really getting better either. Should I be more cautious? I feel like I am finally getting back into shape and hate to throw it away by taking time off. I know that I do not have the dedication to cross train.

It's a delicate balance. I still have difficulty trying to cross train, but I've been doing a lot better at it this time around.

Nice track workout yesterday, I hope you are able to run tomorrow, if not you might have to join Paul in the pool.

Why don't you believe you have the dedication to crosstrain? I think you do, and that you should! Talk to me!

The good thing is it isn't getting any worse. I understand how you feel about xtrain. Running is just so natural and simple. But if you need to xtrain in order for the achilles to heal completely then I think you have the dedication to do it. You are one of the most dedicated athletes I know! GOOD LUCK w/ your run tomorrow!

Nice recovery. I'm amazed at how exact each one of those splits were yesterday. You are a machine.
