Drove to the rec center and got in 4 miles before hooking up with the running club.  It was windy but the it hadn't started snowing yet.  Once the club run started, so did the snow.  I ran the first couple of miles alone but then Jim caught up to me.  It is good to run with him because he pushes the pace.  We were running between 6:50 and 7:00/mile until the last mile when I kind of pooped out.  He pulled ahead and I didn't want to hold the pace. My heart rate was getting into the upper 170's and I knew this was more work than I wanted to do today.  It was a good run and am glad that I was able to put in a good effort.

Nice run even in bad weather. That was a great pace for that distance. Looks like you got in some nice marathon pace miles.

WAY TO GO, nice pace and miles, beating the storm front too.

I should have come run with the group today. I wanted to wait until the wind died down but by then the snow was bad. How many showed up for the group today? Anyone my speed... like you know what speed everyone runs.

Kathie - There were 8 people there today. Lora is really making a push to make the group bigger so hopefully there will be a lot more coming in the future. Natalie was there but I can't remember if she is as fast as you. I think that Lora ran around the pace that you run today.

Andy,

Nice miles! How is your garmin working? How are your legs?

Kathie,

Come run with me when I get back at it. I could meet you half way somewhere ... or you and Kimmy could meet me on the JRP! I miss running in a group SO SO SO badly!!
