Wasn't sure if I would remember how to run.  I don't even have an explanation for what happened last week.  I wasn't sick or injured.  I just didn't want to run.  I'm trying to recommit myself to running.  I feel like I am overweight and woefully out of shape but understand that it is all relative.  There are only 3 more weeks until training for Boston starts and I do not feel like I am where I need to be.  If I can create the habit of running again I will be fine.  The morning runs are becoming a battle.  One possible option is to join the gym at work and start running on the treadmill during the day.  After 8 years of doing the exact same thing, a little shake up of the routine may be what I need.

if you're not feeling it right now, i think it was smart to take a week off. hopefully beginning the training for boston will reboot your motivation. if not, you still have a lot of time and you can ramp things up in january. or february.

shake it up, man. If the price isn't too bad, I'd join the gym. It is so nice to have variety and options.

I actually don't mind the gym. Seriously ... you get to people watch, not worry about cars or the weather, let the machine carry your fluids, and the list goes on and on!!! :) :) :)

Can't wait to hear how it goes for you.

I don't know what kind of treadmills Teena's gym has...the flushing kind, maybe? But shaking up an 8 year old routine is a good idea independent of any other consideration.
