What a cold and dreary morning. Not your typical June weather. I didn't feel particularly great to start the run so I decided to take the first loop easy. Averaged 8:00/mile for the first 9 miles. Stopped and got a drink and checked on the kids and headed out for the second 9. I ran a different loop and it was a little hillier but I ran it 5 minutes faster. I did have to stop a couple of times to rub my foot out but other than that I felt good. I am going to make an appointment with a podiatrist to find out if there is anything that I can do about my foot. Does anybody know a good "runner friendly" podiatrist? |
