As I was falling asleep last night I was thinking that I wanted to be sure to be out early enough to see the sunrise during my run (corny, I know).  Mother nature had different plans.  This was one of the coldest, wettest and dreariest runs I have been on.  The rain turned to snow toward the end of the run.  What month is this?  Despite the bad weather, I felt good and enjoyed the run.  There is still some lingering soreness in my hamstrings but I am starting to feel a little pep in my legs again.

great way to start the week, Andy. Winter sure is hanging on isn't it?

Nice run. I just had to laugh when I got up this morning and saw that it was snowing. On May 24th.

It is cold here too. Our high was in the 70's yesterday. We are usually well above 100 this time of year. I'm loving this weather. Too bad I'm injured and can't get out and run in it.

Love the pep!!! :)

Do you know which aid station at UVM you will be rocking?

Yes I laughed at the weather too and then got on the treadmill. I wanted to run elephant rock next Saturday but it is not looking like it will be free of snow.

Rhett - I actually thought of you this morning while I was running thinking that as bad as the weather was, at least I was able to run in it. I hope that your leg is healing.

Teena - I don't know which aid station I will be covering. I will let you know once I find out.
