It was rainy and cold this morning so I chose to run on the indoor track.  My new Garmin Forerunner 620 did a pretty good job tracking the run without GPS.  It recorded 8.24 miles so about 2-3% error assuming the indoor track is accurate and I ran most of the curves wide.  8 miles by actual laps.  1:03:31. 7:57/mile. 130BPM.

6.38 miles on Middle Road this morning.  It is pretty windy today.  I felt a little slugish, but the pace was fine.  48:22. 7:35/mile. 139BPM.

I'm back in Tucson for a few days visiting my dad. I met an old friend from a long time ago.  I haven't seen him in close to 20 years.  He's an accomplished doctor nowadays http://www.adventuredoc.org/.  A nice, easy run with my old buddy.  6.44 miles.  52:49. 8:12m/m.  139BPM.  I think it was a tad high since I'm at 2200ft and I'm used to living at sea level now.

I'm still in Tucson.  Tucson has really grown since I moved away in the 1990s.  I had a nice run on the dirt roads I trained on 20 years ago; very nostalgic.  I cruised at a pretty good pace for my fitness level right now for a few miles in the middle: 7:07. 7:05, 6:49.  6.55 miles. 48:24. 7:24/mile. 139BPM.
