Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

Too bad this study wasn't available 6 months ago when I was still injured! - "NASA Seeking People Willing To Stay In Bed For More Than Two Months". Honestly, I don't think I would do this for $50,000...I would be a total mental case. But I could definitely see Rachelle doing very well :)

We should have a FRB contest to see who could stay in bed the longest for $18,000. The whole thing would be over by the second day! NASA would consider us a bunch of total failures :-)

Hmmmm I have been looking for another job... I could totally do this!

Let me party hard enough the day before and I am sure I can stay in bed for at a week. Just bring on the bed pan.

My old room mate at UCF was in an experiment for NASA. He had to wear a boot on one of his legs for 2 months (and not use the leg). They did a biopsy before and after to gauge the muscle atrophy. The things college kids will do for money, huh?

haha oh yeah I would be perfect for this study. :) I nearly had an anxiety attack just reading it....Yikes!

i would do the boot experiment for $18k (and just secretly run with one leg).

staying in bed for 70+ days...never.

Yes, but they say there will be lots of high-intensity exercising (in bed)!

From AngieB on Tue, Sep 24, 2013 at 12:01:02 from 174.239.66.1

Haha that's funny. Ya alot of the FRBers would fail at this but alot of the general public would nail it haha.
