Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Ran Jake's warmup and cooldown with him, 5.5 miles total.

PM - Went up to Snowbird with Jake and his dad for a nice tram ride and Oktoberfest activities. It was really nice to take the leisure way up to 11,000 ft instead of hiking (benefits of having family here!).

Ran 2.5 miles around the block before dinner. Jake's family dropped off their dogs at our place and are heading up to Jackson Hole. We debated calling in sick for the whole week so we could go with them, but that seemed a little much :o) At least we get pups for a week!

we went up to snowbird a couple of weeks ago -- it's beautiful up there, and there was still a decent amount of snow!

I wish! The dogs are a chihuahua and a bischon, both incredibly spoiled. Twenty minute walks pretty much wear them out!

Jesse used to do 5+ mile walks and hikes all the time when he was younger. He is 12 years old now, which is pretty old for little guy! Chloe on the other hand has probably never walked more than 20 minutes in her life.
