Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Group run on JRP with Adam, Emily J, Devra, Allie, James, Rob, and Jake. Hard to get up this morning from the traveling yesterday, but it was a really nice morning. Still feeling sluggish...must be on the Allie & Erik (Hamdog) post-marathon plan.

Happy New Years Eve! Don't party too hard :o)

Thanks for the run this morning. I didn't get to talk to you too much since I went shorter and was trying to keep with Devra. But, now that I'm getting back in shape, I'm excited to do some more runs with you.

Thanks for letting me come on your run this morning. It was a lot of fun, it was nice meeting you, now you and Jake can officially be invited to come hot tubing.

From Andrea on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 14:26:20 from 67.177.21.60

Emily - hopefully we'll be able to run together regularly now. I couldn't quite keep up this morning though :)

Rob - YESSSS!!! 7pm tonight?! haha j/k

Rob, what is the difference between Hot Tubing and Hot Tubbing? I imagine the first one (that you mentioned) involved inflatable floaties and a giant microwave to warm them up?

I like that the latest Andrea can do anything at night (on new year's eve, nonetheless) is 7pm, so she can be in bed by 830 as usual :-)

Tubing in a hot tub.

I just commented on Jake's blog but wanted to thank you as well for organizing group runs and "races". Congrats on all the progress this year! You've been an inspiration.

Happy New Year to you Andrea (by the way, who is this Allie character? Is she any relation to allie on the blog?)

From allie on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 17:38:06 from 97.117.82.156

stay far, far away from Allie...

thanks for another great run this morning. have fun with the hot tubes.

Who is Allie?

From Steve on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 18:25:00 from 66.87.123.122

The year in review is pretty neat. 58 days of skiing? That's the most impressive accomplishment you listed! Running is great, but the skiing is where it's at. great pics.

Happy New Year, I hope 2012 is just as successful for you.

From Kelli on Sat, Dec 31, 2011 at 23:20:10 from 71.219.66.129

A DANG successful year! 2012 will be even more so, I am sure! Glad that Utah has grown on you. ;o)
