Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

Andrea, is the crew running tomorrow at 6:15? I assume the soccer fields are the ones located at the southeast corner of the park.

Fritz - I wish we were! Jake and I have to do a 13 mile tempo at marathon pace in the afternoon so that took the place of the early morning run this week. You are more than welcome to join for that (me 6:20 pace, Jake 5:17 pace). We are also having a group long run on Saturday morning 8am too.

I would like to join but I don't think I am close to ready for a workout like that. Sadly my PT looked at my current training and still thinks I need to back off and swim 2 days of the week instead of running or cross training. BUT, that doesn't mean I can't try to run the other days. Let me know what your plans on for Saturday.

10/29 Long Run 8am. Jordan River Parkway, probably the same run as last week (start at 3300S). Pace is casual, 7:15-7:30 pace. Fast last mile, but not required. Anyone can join for a however much you want to run. We can head north for about 4 miles then head south, so there's an 8 mile option or can turnaround any point after that. We had a great group last week and hoping for the same this week.
