Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Woke up this morning freezing and saw the thermostat at 61 degrees - definitely time to turn on the heat. Couldn't resist running in the snow this morning! Found a nice snow-covered field and did a few laps. So much fun :) Off the Zion this afternoon!

Did you do donuts?

From Andrea on Thu, Oct 25, 2012 at 08:39:56 from 72.37.171.52

My granny car isn't really made for donuts. Plus, driving to work was scary enough! If this was TN, work/school would be cancelled. UT should be more like TN.

If by "UT should be more like TN" you mean we should wear lots of bright orange clothes and be the home of Mountain Dew, I agree. But if you mean we should start building meth labs in caves and marrying our cousins, maybe not so much.

I knew you'd end up running this morning when I saw the giant snowflakes. I figured that was your style :-)

Did y'all know I lived in Memphis for 2 years. My idea of Tennessee is probably different than yours.

We got 2 inches of snow one morning and the Rohde's were the only ones on the street with sleds. We totally rocked the neighborhood driving around on the lawn tractor pulling kids on sleds.

No Rob I didn't know that! The rest of TN does not recognize Memphis as part of the state - that place is awful. I did an internship there and lived in Mississippi just so I didn't have to be in the city. EAST TN - now that's another story. Beautiful there :)

I actually lived in Olive Branch MS. But worked in Germantown.

Oh, that's not bad! I lived in Hernando, MS. Olive Branch and Germantown are actually a very nice areas.
