Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

It's Friday!!! Does anyone know of motivational, pump-you-up, make you want to run faster podcasts to listen to? Or just anything interesting to listen to while at work??

Try the Stuff You Should Know podcasts. Perhaps not he pump-you-up-go-faster type, but certainly in the 'intereseting' catagory. Would be good on a long run.

Chariots of Fire always gets me thinking about running fast!! Also I recommend watching the end of some marathons, like when Kara Goucher took 3rd (I think) at Boston two years ago or was it three? anyway after I watched clips of that I went out of starting plate (my house) like I was secretariat!! OH I thought of another, the one where the girl that fell during a track competition and ACTUALLY WON!!! IT TOTALLY PUMPS YOU UP!!! seriously amazing viewing!! not sure how to find the link. Just put in some random words about women track star wins event after falling!! you will love it!! GOOD LUCK ANDREA!!! : D

All I listen to at work is kids screaming, not so fun. It only gives one a very bog headache!

Hope you found something!
