Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - 10 miles on the trails in Teton National Park. We linked up Jenny Lake, String Lake, Leigh Lake, and Bearpaw Lake for a nice run. The surface was smooth and trails were flat. It was really fun....the only problem with running here is the bears! We only saw a small one but talked to others that saw much larger ones (which I'm sure that Jake and I just ran right by). My legs are feeling the fatigue of vacation day #4.

PM - We went kayaking on the Jackson Lake for a couple hours. It was my first time kayaking and I loved it!

Your pictures are gorgeous. What camera do you use? And do you edit them at all?

Thank you for making my work day super hard :-) You're spending time in one of my favorite places on earth, and, based on your reports, you're seeing a lot of it. Excellent work! You and Jake sure know how to play hard.

Question: Do you or Jake ever say, "I think I'd rather sit on the couch and watch a movie?"

Should you ever decide to have children, you may need to hire some help. They could come with a double dose of play-till-you-drop energy.
