Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - 5.8 miles, up to Sugarhouse with Jake and back home. I'm starting to feel more motivated and energized. Taking the last 4 weeks pretty easy was definitely a good idea for me.

Rant of the day: One of my co-workers decided to clean out the fridge. I had some yogurt, turkey, and cheese that I always keep for snacks so I taped a big paper towel and wrote "DO NOT THROW AWAY" and she did anyways!!! What a jerk. Seriously, why would you do that?

PM - Hard weight training for 30 minutes. Then 3.6 miles around Sugarhouse Park during the thunderstorm. Fun!

Serious jerk! Next time draw some brass knuckles on there too. She'll know you mean business.

Ugh so annoying!! I would be way mad. You should bake her a big batch of laxative induced cookies. :-)

Oreo - Yeah, Kanarra Creek is only a 5 mile detour from the highway...definitely something to consider as a short, fun stop on a road trip.

Russ&Rachelle - I feel better now because one of my other coworkers got mad b/c her PB was thrown away and gave her a stern lecture about throwing away other people's stuff!

Gotta love the frig police in the office. At least send out a coutesy message to the office letting them know what you are going to do so they can tell you to cease and desist if there is 'good' food in there. Annoying!

Well deserved rant. Someone has a vendetta. Sorry you had to deal with that. But if that gets all the bad out on Monday more power to the rest of the week.
