Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Medium-long run, out and back on the bike path along the lake. Not nearly as fun as our typical group Wednesday runs, but nice and relaxing knowing that I didn't have to work. I wore my bathing suit on the run (luckily anything goes in TN!) b/c I promised my bride-to-be that I wouldn't have terrible tan lines for her wedding :)

Ha ha ha. That is awesome! I would get a crazy tan just out of spite :)

I MEANT that it gets so hot in the summer that it's not totally unusual for people to run in bathing suits in the summer. We did it all the time in high school. Then you can just jump in the lake or the pool whenever you want!

ha! that's a great idea -- i have some terrible tan lines that i developed over the weekend and they must go before june 23rd. i could get away with it in liberty park.

another great med-long run!

sounds like you've had too much cave meth.

i agree - you should have brought a pair of ski goggles and worn them at the pool all day today. then, at least everyone would think you skied a lot this season!
