Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Easy 4 miles.

PM - Workout with Allie. 2 mile warmup, then 8 x 200m w/ 200m jog recovery in average 38.5s. Felt strong - really nice to have company! Then we cooled down with Jake and Rob for a mile or so.

Here is a good Food Advisor that analyzes your nutritional status and provides you with information regarding the nutrients which may be found deficient in your diet as well as recommendations for which foods and recipes will help fulfill your nutritional needs.

I now have the pleasure of stuffing my mouth with a handful of spinach before every meal.

Must eat more calf liver.

From Jake K on Thu, May 03, 2012 at 09:34:42 from 155.100.226.54

The food advisor says that I haven't had a snickers in far too long

From allie on Thu, May 03, 2012 at 09:38:20 from 161.38.218.168

more oysters for me.

From Andrea on Thu, May 03, 2012 at 09:39:15 from 72.37.244.100

Lulu, I got calf liver too. Who eats that, seriously?

Jake, I think that are missing a few rows for you - ice cream, candy, Diet Mtn Dew....

Here's my top 5 -

11 - Spinach

8 - Asparagus

8 - Mustard Greens

8 - Turnip Greens

8 - Basil

Scam! Mine looks exactly the same. It reminds me of the career inventory I took in high school that told everyone in my class to become a Rabbi. This food adviser is funded by the spinach counsel.

From Jake K on Thu, May 03, 2012 at 09:45:18 from 155.100.226.54

Mine looks the same too. And if you saw our fridge, you'd think I was recently named to the spinach counsel. Andrea loves it! :-)

Better to be funded by the spinach council than the pig council!

From allie on Thu, May 03, 2012 at 09:54:58 from 161.38.218.168

spinach is #3 on my list and i eat 3 bags/week.

Did someone say bacon?

From Rachelle on Thu, May 03, 2012 at 13:47:04 from 159.212.71.25

I do not see icecream as an option on the list so I refuse to participate.

Also I don't even eat spinach so based on everyone else's results that probably means I am going to die any second now..

From RAD on Thu, May 03, 2012 at 14:25:08 from 98.202.23.178

Oregano, swiss chard, asparagus, salmon and basil are my top 5 (all 2's). HA! funny, but we're having a dinner tonight with asparagus and tomorrows has oregano and fresh basil...awesome. Spinach was number 6 for me, so I'm ignoring it :)

nice recovery run after your beastly hills yesterday!

YIKES!!! I have some work to do (according that little survey). Why can't Willy Wonka really make a bubble gum that gives us everything we need? But I would still want access to my faves: kettle corn, nutella, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, chips and salsa, and so forth!!! :)

From Tina on Fri, May 04, 2012 at 19:20:27 from 75.162.206.184

I've been trying to eat more spinach lately, too. I like it in smoothies. I've been throwing some pom juice, frozen blueberries, a scoop of vanilla protein powder, and a handful of spinach in the blender. It's actually pretty good.
