Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Millcreek/Holladay loop with AdamRW, ACorn, Jake, and Fritz, 7:30 pace. Sundays are definitely the best day for running in the mornings. I was able to keep my feet from going numb and was relieved that they didn't hurt much. But I definitely felt out of shape today - we weren't even running that fast! I gotta get back on the wagon soon or else I won't be able to hang with the guys much longer.

Good seeing you this morning, you may feel out of shape but you didn't look or act the part.

Thanks for bringing some class to the group this morning.

Nice to run with you and the crew this morning. I know it's frustrating right now but I know it won't take much time to get it back.

Nice miles! I'm so glad you're feeling better. What is/was causing the neuropathy in your feet?

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Your speed will come back. I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Good job just being able to get out and hit the run. Don't try to rush things. You'll be running strong soon enough. Having full health without injury seems to bring fitness back faster than any training cycle.

I'm so happy your run felt good today. You deserve it! Just keep listening to your body and error on the side of caution until you are 110% sure you're on the healthy side. You're so gifted that I'm sure less will be more for a person of your talent and abilities.
