Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc. 

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Horsepark loop. Ran an easy, relaxed pace which was about 9 min pace this morning :)

PM - Two laps around the Sugarhouse perimeter. Felt terrible for 3 miles then all of a sudden not so bad anymore. 

Jake and I got our new team kits from Saucony! So exciting!!!

Sweet gear! How often do you get new stuff from Saucony?

I have to say that the Peregrines are my favorite trail shoe ever. I'm also a big fan of the Mirages for the road.

Steve Nash will once again defy the laws of aging and lead the Suns back to the playoffs, despite the fact that he is playing w/ a bunch of scrubs that wouldn't even get PT on any other playoff teams! :-) Other than Grant Hill, who is like the Haile Geb of basketball - he never ages...

It is a definite toss up about who is better looking in the NBA between Steve Nash and and dirk nowitzki.

So so jealous of the gear!! Love it and you totally deserve it. You are representing Saucony well Andrea! But I must admit I'm really surprised you and Jake haven't been hit up for sponsorship by Blue Bunny, or Meadow Gold or something. :)
