Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc. 

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - EASY 4.4 miles horsepark loop. Ran about 8:15 pace this morning, but I feel like I deserved it. I've decided that I like my Asics Speedstar shoes better than the Saucony Getgos. The Getgos seem to be more rigid and not as cushiony.

PM - 2 miles on the treadmill and 10 min on the elliptical.

My massage was good, still wished they would work on my back more!

Thought I'd jump over to your blog to comment..

Thursday we will be doing 8 x 200 meters on the state cross country course at Sugarhouse. With warm-up and cool-down, it should be a pretty good run. We'd love to have you.

Also, we are having our annual team breakfast at my house after in which we try to squeeze 30 sweaty kids into our tiny Sugarhouse house. You are welcome to join us. Jake too.
