we ran...

We ran outside this morning and it was beautiful. I think I even over dressed some because it was quite warm, compared to what we've been experiencing. I struggled to catch my breath for the first 2 miles. I don't know what my problem was, but I was huffing and puffing and struggling to carry on a conversation. I think I may be coming down with the same cold my boys have had - yuck.

I think it is much easier to get winded when you are pregnant because your blood composition changes--more white blood cells (which do not carry oxygen) and less red blood cells (which do). Hope you don't get sick!

Oh Andee, I hope you are not getting sick! Take it easy and dont overdue yourself. I wish we lived closer so I could watch your boys so you could get some rest. Nice job on getting some miles in!

It was definitely warmer out today than it has been. Wasn't it great. Thats so great that you are still out exercising. Way to go!!

I have had days where I huff and puff the entire run- usually when I am running with my hubby and dont want to appear winded, but can t help it! Great job running, you are doing so well!

I love how I have to click on your comments to see the rest of your entry, it adds a measure of suspense!

I wish I would have been smart enough to be a runner during my pregnancies! Good luck as you do it! Hope you are feeling better today!

From Lybi on Sun, Feb 17, 2008 at 22:30:20

Uh-oh, it's been awhile... Hope you're not sick. So many people get sick this time of year. Half the people from church were missing today. If you are sick, I'd like to wish you a speedy recovery!
