I woke up this morning with my alarm at 5:45.  I heard the wind and looked out the window.  Once I saw the rain my decision was made and I climbed back in bed.  I run with some wonderful ladies, but the last 2 times there was rain/snow they stood me up and I was not going to go for number 3.  To make my day even better, my boys slept in to 7:30.  I can't remember sleep past 6:30 since they were born.  I finally got myself on the treadmill and it felt great.  I'm glad to be done for today and now I'm on my way to wait in line at the post office - wish me luck!!

Great job- 5.5 on the treadmill!!! Good luck at the post office. We'd love to have you tonight if possible.

OOOH, AHHH, sleeping in is the best! Forgot what you were missing didn't you?! Now that my kid are older I sleep in too often! Hope the post office wasn't too insane, I dread it this time of year! Are you looking forward to any particular race?

Sounds like you've been long over due for a sleep in morning, glad that you were able to take advantage of it!!!! Maybe this will become a habit for them, wouldn't that be a great Christmas gift!!!! Good job going five on the treadmill, I need to toughen up, I just can't do that!

Jody-

I'd much rather be running with you than caroling with YM/YW, so we'll see how fast I can get through it. I need to come bring your Christmas up sometime.

Christi-

Thanks for the post. Yes, I had forgotten what it was like. It was a 45 minute wait at the post office - not fun! As for future races, I'm kind of thinking about the SLC 1/2 in April or a 10K somewhere, but we'll have to see what life holds in store.

Michelle-

Thanks for post! Yes, sleeping in on a regular basis would be one of the best gifts I could think of right now!

Great job Andee! Hey, is there a chance you would consider doing the Striders half on April 5th with us instead of the SLC half? You are invited! I think that Michelle, Mik'l, and I are really close to your pace. We could make a pack of FRB chicks.

And congratulations on being able to sleep in! That is definitely worth celebrating!
