I woke up this morning, not to an alarm clock but to my little boy throwing up!  It has been a hard morning at our house.  A little later he said he was hungry so I fed him some toast and wouldn't you know it, I saw it all again and again!  I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get a run in today until my husband gets home from work.  So, here I sit with one little boy who wants to play and another who has a towel and bowl by his side.

SO I PREVAILED WITH THE THROW UP AND ACTUALLY GOT MY LITTLE GUYS TO BED AT 7:15 TONIGHT.  I WENT STRAIGHT TO THE TREADMILL TO TRY TO MAKE MYSELF FEEL LIKE I ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING TODAY.  THE RUN WAS GOOD AND I WAS ABLE TO BE ALONE AND JUST THINK ABOUT LIFE.

Marcie-

It's Briggs! I know, what a shocker, he's never sick. He's really being quite the little trooper.

your boys have some cute names...i am sorry he is sick..that isn't fun at all. Don't you just wish you could take it away. good luck!

Uff. That's the worst. So sorry for your little guys. (And you!)

Popsicles (the white ones--they don't stain) and water are usually the first meal I try with my little guys after they lose their lunch. Not as much fun in the winter, but it does tend to stay down.

Awesome job! I don't know if I could do it after a day of throw up. Sorry about the quick phone call - I should have used my cell. The phone has been ringing off the hook between's Jay's work & church. It never ends. I wish they would all call his cell and give me back my home phone!!

What are your plans for tomorrow and Saturday? We still need to get together so I can send the gifts down with you. This will give me a wrapping deadline.

Wow look at you go! I am so impressed with your running and the dedication you are showing, now I wont be the only crazy one in the family. I am glad Briggs is feeling better.
