2 mile warm up, 200 and 1000 meter time trials with 5 minutes rest in between. Tried to time using my less than functional ipod, so I'm approximating 32 seconds and 3:40, Not impressed. I know my legs aren't recovered from Wednesday's race yet though, they just didn't have and couldn't get that springy feel. I was just gonna go an easy 5 today but I saw that workout for the day in my Lydiard book and it just seemed so much more appealing. And now I can slip back into my normal weekly routine despite the interruption of a Wednesday race. |
