2 mile warm up, 8 45 meter windsprints, 1 mile warm down. Approximate... Football team hogging the track (as always) Need to muster up some motivation for my race next Wednesday. Been so preoccupied with Wedding planning, my new job, the nursing board, house repairs... Stop. Just stop. No excuses. Everyone has shit to do. Suck it up and do it. Maybe this "restful" couple of weeks will actually end up benefitting me, because overtraining is my usual downfall. Say it aloud now: Im still gonna peak at "Mastick". I know the course, and as of this writing, Im going to renew my focus on this race. Where I first came out of my sebattical (sp?) in 2008. Where exactly 2 years ago my fiancee (for 9 more days!!!!!) told me he loved me for the very first time... Where I still had the respect of my ex nursing supervisor... So many memories! but it's time to make a new one. 22:30 is the goal. Time to make that into a reality. |
