My ankle was swollen 1/4" on Thursday and now its down to 1/5" (using calipers) and the pain is subsiding. I went for a 25mi bike ride today on a trail. My ankle didn't hurt at all riding. I've been wearing a neoprene ankle wrap, using cryoderm, and taking ibprofen. I bought a bike trainer today so I can substitute my running for cycling next week when I can't make it to the trail. I also bike commute to class everyday, so I will still get that riding in as well which is about 30 mi/wk. |
