My mom ran with me when she was pregnant with me and so I must've caught the bug! I've been running with Racecats for a couple years now and I really like it. I'm getting pretty fast too. I need to work on consistent running, because I have big dreams, but kind of want to get there without working for it! (my mom might be typing this for me...and if I discovered she told everyone my name was Fartlek I might dis-own her!)

I'm in 3rd grade this year and training with Racecats Elite program. If you are in elementary or middle school, you should join us!

Today I ran before school with mom. My leg hurt when I started. I found a pen that had a rubber top. I ran through the sprinklers and I only got a little dribble because I was trying to race them before they got me. I raced mom at the end, but she won because my leg hurt.

I will bet that it is really a fun thing to run with your mom "Young Mr. Fartlek"! I ran with your mom when she was pregnant with you too and it really is a fun thing to do!

Keep up the great running and someday you will get to run the Boston Marathon!

Oh ya, congrats on winning 1st Place in your Age Division at the Payson Onion Days 5k.
