People asking, "Where's Twinkies?"
"And the miles he used to log?"

Okay, that's the extent of my rhyming abilities.

In October my arthritis started acting up, which then led to Baker's Cysts in both legs. On my right leg I have a lump just smaller than a tennis ball on the back of my knee. On my left leg I have a golf ball sized lump at the top of my calf and the calf muscle is usually swollen. The good news is that the cyst's are going down in size now and I am on the road to recovery.

The mile I got in today was only walking. I went up the the Bonneville Shoreline trail, and found a large fence where the trailhead used to be. There was a sign there that said that the trail head had been temporarily moved until November 2011 because of a gas line project. It also said that all my local trails (Wild Rose Canyon, North Canyon, and Mueller Park) will be having temporary closures throughout 2011.

I found the new trail head and walked a mile in the fog. It felt great to be out on a trail again. I will be back to running soon and setting some new goals for next year.

I've never heard of Baker's Cysts, but they sound grody.

Things that are baked sound good this time of year, but I wouldn't recommend these ones.

Wow! Hope you get better soon Twinkies. I'm looking forward to hitting the trails with you in 2011.

Thanks Scott, I am feeling better. I actually got out and ran today.
