Fresh snow today. It snowing hard when I stated today but cleared up about 15 minutes into the run. It started snowing hard again towards the end of my run, but stopped when I finished. Normal weather for Utah.

It was nasty and snowing here in Idaho today too. After mid-60's last week it seems like a cruel joke. Your miles are looking good. What is your goal time for Ogden this year?

I got worked in the snow today. So much fun.

Glad it wasn't my day to run outside!

Bill - The last time I ran Ogden, I came in at 3:25. I think I can come in under 3:15 now. I would like to 6be closer to 3:00, but I don't think I am quite there yet.

I have 2 mores races in the Strider's Series, a half marathon, and a 30k. I will have a better feel for how I am going to do at Ogden after I run those.

I was going to do Ogden last year, but didn't make it. I did Top of Utah the year before. Any thoughts on which race is better?

I prefer Ogden. I like the Top of Utah Marathon and have ran it three times. But the last time I was very disappointed with a slight change they made in the course. On the old course we would go past the Logan Temple at about mile 25. They new course cut that out and we don't even see the temple. They are both great courses though.

According to the elevation map, it looks like Ogden is downhill all the way to the finish line. That's what I didn't like about TOU. It flattens out the last 9 miles. That was too much of a shock to my system. For 17 miles I had gravity doing all the work for me. Then I had to do it all myself. No sir!
